Xiaowei Li is a founding partner of rui | attorneys, a litigation and transactional law firm. Xiaowei’s practice focuses on business planning and litigation. Xiaowei’s clients include both individuals and small-to-medium size businesses. Her business clients include both local businesses and international corporations. The economic sectors of her local business clients include restaurants, Chinese acupuncture clinics, dental offices, optometry offices, contractors, construction companies and grocery and liquor stores, and others.

Based on her international education, Xiaowei is familiar with US and Chinese law, thus facilitating cross-boarder transactions and planning & managing cross-boarder litigation. Xiaowei’s dual education provides exceptional understanding in synchronizing solutions to the issues and concerns each culture and system brings to an international client.

Prior to founding rui | attorneys, Xiaowei provided counsel to a Denver Colorado engineering firm, facilitating cross-boarder transactions and advising on general business law. Xiaowei also served as a research assistant in the field of property law and public policy at the University of Iowa College of Law.
